If you are a true Jamaican growing up in the 1990's Reggae Artist Bounty illa was all th rave. BUt is it time that he mass the mantle tot he younger genreationand givnve the singing thing a rest?
Although Bounty Killa has taken breaks from performing throughout his long and successful career as a Jamaican dancehall artist, some say that he should take a permanent hiatus from performing and recording.
Taking a break is not new to Bounty Killa. For example, in 2006, Bounty Killa announced that he was taking a break from the music industry due to personal reasons. However, he returned to music a few months later with the release of the album "Walk Gud."
In 2012, Bounty Killa took a break from performing after the death of his mother. He canceled a series of concerts and tours to mourn and take care of his family.
In 2015, Bounty Killa announced that he would be taking a break from performing to focus on building his music label called Alliance Next Generation (ANG). He said that he wanted to help younger artists get a start in the industry and provide them with the resources and support they need to succeed.
Overall, while Bounty Killa has taken breaks from the music industry in the past, he has always returned and continued to be an active and influential figure in the Jamaican music scene.
BUt is he still relevant for the culture that is now present in Jamaica?
