  1. Why do we go to church?

    1. I am passionate about this one. The bible says iron sharpeneth iron Prov 27:17. I believe that all members should attend church services; at the very minimum once per week.

Since the pandemic a lot of members have opted to connect virtually. While this is better than no connection at all. In my mind it is next to nothing. This type of connection only caters to the minority and so many of us need that face to face connection. As a result churches are falling apart, and in the wake of it, society is also falling apart.

We are closer to the coming of Jesus that we have ever been, and so the admonition in scripture that we should not forsake the assembling of ourselves, is at its most relevant point.

      Hebrews 10:25 NLT
And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

We need each other to grow. There is strength in numbers. United we stand but divided we fall.

Let us go back to church.

  2. What scripture says we can pierce our ears?

    1. There is no scripture that says we can wear earrings. As a matter of fact, every single scripture in the bible that mentions earrings is speaking about taking it off.

From these scripture we can see that the wearing of earrings is not something new; however from the very first mention of it, its use is denounced.

Gen 35:4 And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.

This scripture alleges that ear rings were idols, or strange gods; which is something to be avoided because it angers the true God.

I hope this answered your question.
