This blog was created to preserve a little part of Jamaica's culture. Too many jokes and interesting things about the Island get forgotten just because there wasn't an archive of them. This blog allows me to archive all these jokes and interesting things so that they will never be forgotten. I will write about what I know and believe, but I need all the help I can get. If you don't leave a donation please like, follow or support my advertisers, that amounts to the same thing.

Parishes and Capitals of Jamaica
Do you know the parish and capitals of Jamaica? Try naming them without looking at the map above. How far did you get?
I can name the parishes no problem but the capitals are a little faint.
This post has been around for some time now, so I think it only proper now that I provide the answers.
As a child my mother made me study these for my summer holiday. No fun for me during the summer. As a result, I hated summer, cause I did more school work during the summer than regular school days.

There are three county divisions Cornwall, Middlesex and Surrey.
Now that I'm grown I think I need to find out the history behind these names, especially middle sex. What in the world? what kind of name is that?
Jamaica is filled with mystique, which needs to be discovered.
